Some family sessions just make me squeal with joy, and this was one of them! It goes without saying that I looove photographing families, but throw in the opportunity to take some gorgeous maternity photos too, and I am ALL HERE for it! When Yoshiko showed me the maternity gowns she had selected for our session, my jaw dropped, and I knew we were in for a treat! I honestly still can’t decide which of her two gowns I like better. I love the beautiful lace work of the teal dress, but the flowy tulle layers and soft seafoam color of the second dress also make it a winner in my book. Not only were the Huynhs impeccably dressed, they were also so incredibly fun to work with! And honestly, these guys are so photogenic that they could easily be professional models. I especially loved interacting with little Quintin, who 100% stole the show with his ADORABLE smile, boundless energy, and sweet, friendly personality. When he wasn’t regaling me and Manuel with dinosaur facts, he was running around and making friends with other kiddos at the park. He also had wonderful manners and clearly loved spending time with Yoshiko and Viet, which made for the most adorably sweet family photos.
You guys know how much I love Green Spring Gardens, but funnily enough, this is actually the first family session I’ve taken here in the spring! True to their name, the gardens are very green and springy right now. 😉 It’s amazing how different they look across the different seasons, and how new photo backdrops open up as various flowers bloom. I’m definitely looking forward to doing more spring sessions here soon!
